There's no more waves of flying metal to contend with, whatever magic sprung a trap on them not strong enough to do it again. The longer they explore, the weaker the magical presence feels, as if it's pulling away.
There's three guesses for where the magic is going, and the first two don't count.
Cid (Peanut?) can thoroughly check the cabinets, though most of the contents are on the floor now. He can find some baked treats, though they're a little stale. Still, free pastries!
There's another pantry in the kitchen that looks like it's been torn apart by a starving bear, and at the far end, the most eastern end of the kitchen, a locked door...
OOCly, I can tell you this door leads to the same room that the wizardracist Leo and Urianger are dealing with is in. ICly they won't know this, but they may be able to faintly hear conversation.
They have two options: cycle back around and join up with the others, or see if they'll have any luck forcing open this door with the magic receding...
