[Well, the windows do open, but the wall is also cracking apart around the window. With all the wind spells thrown its way the window gets pushed out of the wall entirely, taking supports with it. They've got quite a sizable gap to fly through, right on time for pieces of the floor to begin falling down, crashing onto the ground level.
(Maybe they can pick through the rubble later for loot?)
Once they reach the sky, flying up and over the house, they can see that the thundering clouds have cleared up just a bit. The day is still dreary and grey, but things are just a bit brighter. On the front lawn they can see the distant figure of a blonde woman waving at them. She's far enough away from the house to avoid any dangerous collapse, and next to her, cowering on the ground, is a dark haired man.]
