Now, without this odd magic constantly assaulting them, they can see the object is some sort of stone of respectable size, about the size of a large housecat. It's pale, but rather dirty, as though it has lay dormant beneath the earth for many, many years, and the one jagged edge suggests it may have broken off a larger piece of stone. ]
