[ Once the air settles and springtime peace fully returns to the field, something curious happens.
As your attention shifts from the fragment on the ground to the space in front of you, four pale green orbs appear before you. They emit a warm, friendly glow, and they seem to gaze kindly at you. Should you lend your ear to the spirits, you can hear a distinct voice coming from each of them: Thank you.
But before you can communicate with them, they shoot through the air, past the horizon.
For the first time, the air in this world has felt more stable than it has been since coming here. It seems neutralizing the moon fragment has smoothed over one of the cracks in this breaking world.
The villagers are profuse with their thanks, offering a veritable feast for their saviors. They seem surprised by the shard of the moon found in the field, but all agree it's safer in the hands of the Sage's wizards. They hope for the best for all of you, and that they get the chance to see all of you again.
Journeying back to the Southern tower is easy, and using the tower to get back to the manor is a painless process. When they return their mentor is there, but it's hard to gauge whether the man is impressed, concerned, or annoyed. (All three, perhaps?) He ushers you back into the manor, and the five of you are free to go your own ways.
Congrats on a successful mission, Southern wizards and witches! (And non-binary spellslinger!) Now you can rest, and decide what to share with your companions and what to do with your new rock. ]
